Well the green car is, at least partly, on the wrong side of the road so I guess they are at fault. I assume the green car is going left to right.
I would call it the 'right turn lane'.0 -
Green car driver, assuming you are stationary or not crossed the lines into their path.
Right turn lane?
Has a collision actually happened? Or is it hypothetical?

Presumably the green car is coming towards the blue car which is correctly trying to turn into the right hand turn lane.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
Green car has entered the right turn filter lane, effectively driving on the wrong side of the road.Green at fault.0

Yes. I edited my earlier post to make this assumption clear.:)0 -
Green car. I can't stand people with a lack of lane discipline...0

50:50 or some other form of split liability - on the basis that you could both clearly see each other, were presumably both traveling at a sensible speed to enable a turn across the traffic flow and I suspect that any collision that woud have take place was because both parties refused to yield and effectively drove into each other.
I agree the green car is at fault but we all have a responsibility to avoid collisions no matter how much in the right we know we are. Obviously, if you were stationary at the point of collision then I think that's a different matter entirely.0 -
Glad everyone agrees it would be the green car.
This is all hypothetical but it is a junction I use a lot and had a very close call today. I'm just concerned that if a collision did occur it would be hard to prove without a witness if I was in the right turn lane. The green driver may try to say that I had already crossed from the right turn lane into their path.
I think I will just have to be more careful and assume everyone is going to cut across the right turn lane. It just means I am going to end up at angle and half in/out of the lane and of course block the traffic behind.
When I have been travelling in the same direction as the green car I have seen cars infront fully enter the right turn lane. Very careless

Until we know which way the green car is going, who knows.0

Surely it depends whether or not it was Stryder driving0
