Best basic phone with MP3 player
I expect to be a very light user. I'm looking for a fairly basic phone, except that I'd like an MP3 player on it if possible, costing between £15 and £25. Not really bothered about it having a Camera or FM Radio (that would be a bonus though). I want a keypad not touch screen.
I was looking at the Samsung E2121, but found out today that it doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone socket. To get this in perspective, I'm likely to use it more as an MP3 player than a phone, so std headphone socket seems essential, but prepared to be corrected on that.
I want to use the phone on Giff Gaff or Asda, so from what I understand, it needs to be an O2 or Vodaphone so it doesn't need unlocking.
I'm only looking for 2gb of MP3 storage.
Maybe I'm expecting too much for less than £25 ?

Maybe it would be better to buy a cheap mp3 player?
You can get a 2G one for a few quid0 -
Most phones without 3.5mm sockets come with adaptors in the box for normal headphones, or do you not want to be faffing around with an adaptor?
Yes it would need to be o2 for GiffGaff, or Voda for Asda.0 -
Really !? No, that wouldn't be a faff at all.
So, the E2121 might have that in the box. Great, I'll try and find out.... or could anyone that's bought one confirm ?
