Here's a poll to help put people's mind at ease about whether they will be taken to court after receiving a Private Parking Company's invoice if they ignore it. This is just to prove pretty much noone gets taken to court.
Votes are public so we can identify the PPC's voting for the first option

Err?? Something seems to have gone wrong, no poll.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Seems the Poll can't be edited at all now it is posted, sadly. Would mean starting a new thread and deleting this one.0

I was taken to court and the Parking Company lostWhat happens with those of us who have had a number of encounters? I've been to court once and won and had others which have resulted in zilch? My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
Received more threatening letters, 3 months on and nothing yetI got some theatograms from euro must be a few months ago, and that was that, but still waiting for lps since May
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Hadn't thought of enabling the multiple choices feature and unfortunately can't change it now, sorryWhat happens with those of us who have had a number of encounters? I've been to court once and won and had others which have resulted in zilch?
Guess best to choose the one which best applies or best suits purpose of the thread. 0 -
It's so many years ago I forgot, oh and nothing happenedI had one PPC ticket followed by letters and ignored them, also used to love removing clamps without damaging them for other motorists at no charge.
Nice to see people being made more aware that they have a chance of getting away with paying nowt.0 -
Did you enter the poll incorrectly? It shows you losing and no one going to court and winning. What happens with those of us who have had a number of encounters?
