I've sponsored you - sorry it's not much, just had to pay £120 for some new tyres which has wiped us out a bit this month! :o

Aww thank you! As they say every penny helps and we're really grateful!
Know what you mean about Ashli.. she causes utter chaos and then sits back and watches you with her feet up while you tidy up the mess! Cheeky mare!

  • IA, I have 4 children (19, 14, 12 and 4) and know exactly how you feel. My sitting room floor currently covered in toy cars courtesy of my 4 year old daughter - oh the joy!!! Glad you had a good weekend and that Ash enjoyed her birthday. Take care.

But she looks like a little angel....surely she couldn't have made that much mess!! :rotfl:

I've got a fairly angelic looking little boy - all blond hair, white skin and big blue eyes - and it's amazing how he can walk into a tidy room and leave 2 minute later with a trail of destruction and demolition behind him. :D

PS I will try and sponsor you for a bit more before the race - I'm gutted about having to pay for the tyres, and my bonus has *just* cleared my credit card and overdraft (I think there was 73p left lol) so I'm left with next to nothing until next payday  , but at least I'm out of debt for the time being (car loan doesn't count - it's hubby's car hahaha).

Today's not starting off too bad. Firstly the girls let us sleep in til 9am (Which is great as I was on middle of the night feed!) and Ste is currently on his first driving lesson since his test so they're goin gto go through what went wrong. Also, my hatred of BT is long documented, and today we recieved our feb/march bill.... wait for it... £29 in credit! Woo! Thank god as this month has been seriously tight with Ste's test and everything. Will have to go work out the money now as we won't be paying out for a bt bill or the race for life entry... Looks like we should be ok for the end of the month after all! Phew!

I'm relieved to say that money is officially going to be ok for the rest of march. We're having to use this weeks tax credits (Which went in today instead of tomorrow for some bizarre reason?) to get us through but next weeks and the child benefit we'll be able to save to make up for what Ste will be losing out of his wages in April. I just hope to god that it's enough and that my wages aren't messed up again as April is the month we need to pay off dotty p's. Don't ask me how the hell we're going to manage to pay off barclaycard when we lose my maternity pay in May, I can't think that far ahead to be honest but I'm not looking forward to it. :(

If everything works out ok in april and we can get back to normal paying off dotty p's then this is how it's work out.. (random workings out warning!)

    4th - 82.43
    11th - 65.62
    18th - 64.44
    24th - 120.80 (cb)
    25th - 64.44
    = 397.73

Meaning we'll have to find about £65... hmmm.... how the hell are we going to do that with Ste's driving test on the 17th April?????

Will have to call up the tax credits after April 5th and let them know I will only be earning £44 in 07/08 and hopefully they'll put our payments up.

    Stress!
