lol me too .... I have just been and treated myself to some new undies out of matalan today as I was wearing bras 2 sizes too big and size 16 undies from pregnancy (15 months since I had my baby) and I am now a 10 ... so it was pretty desperate. Anyway, they have some lovely knickers on BOGOF at the moment that work out at £1 a pair which are great, although in our store they are still stickered as 3 for £5 for some reason. Well I'm impressed with the guitar playing! I played folk guitar as a teenager (so, rage isn't my actual choice of music, lol) but I was watching your fingers and the way you used the plectrum, and listening overall - no idea what the original sounds like, but I'd have been happy with this in my day!
Bit unhappy that I've realised its almost 40 years since I got that guitar. At least I remember the sixties .....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Found a note (on the scrap of paper I worked it all out on) from DH this morning when I came down saying 'Doesn't this add up to £496' and when I looked he was right! How did I work out that £117 cb, £397 tc and £99 from council tax = £613???? lol! Oh well... £496 is still enough to pay off dororthy perkins without having to save any extra so I'm not complaining.... What am I like! :rotfl:
doesn't matter as the date has long passed but your figures do add up to £613:love: married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090 -

OMG we've got £280 more than we need for bills! :T :T
We could pay Ste's citi off and still have some left over!!!
Will have to save it tho just in case his new wages are less because of him being paid on the 20th...
Can someone double check this so I don't muck it up and get us into crap?
In bank... £857.92 now I've paid a couple bills (including £20 off Ste's citi even though we didn't have to.)
Bills still to go out...
77 paypal
4.47 l&g
11.41 tv licence
17.18 water
104 council tax
160.50 welcome
14.50 egg
65.50 scottish power
22 Tiscali
22 Barclaycard
33.78 churchill
30? Ste 02
8 Sar 02
4.47 l&g
= 574.81
857.92-574.81 = 283.11
-27.71 left over from this weeks budget = 255.40 to save
There's £29 in the debt account already so as a treat we can add that to the weekly budget as we're going out with Ste's work mates tonight and to a gig a mate has given us tickets for tomorrowThen we live off tax credits every week and put any left over into savings along with the child benefit when that goes in... so if we don't need to use the savings we should have over £370 :T plus whatever we get from ebay.....
Does that look right???Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Woo! There is a definite happy vibe on the boards this morning as it's payday for so many of us!
So glad you put the vids up - the timing might have gone off in the first one, but at least you knew that (believe me when you teach singing & half the people don't even know when they're out of tune you are grateful for these things!)
Hmmm, there's quite a few musos on here though... I'm thinking a virtual band... I sing, plus can play piano/keyboards, flute, tiny bit of sax, steel pans, djembe and about 2 chords on the guitar (not that I own most of hese instruments unfortunately!) If everyone recorded their section of a song as a wav file I could put them together as a podcast...Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06
