'Doing up a knackered bass the DFW way part II'
Time for an update! Spent a good hour today trying to get the damn paint off.. not only have I stunk the house out, killed about 15 species of marine animal with white spirit and given myself lung cancer, but it did ABSOLUTELY JACK to the paint work so I opted for the good ol' scraper method.....

Voila... (excuse the builders bum... :rotfl:)

The scraper method proved more successful and less choking than the white spirit method.. although it's bloody hard work and my arms and wrists ache like hell now.. but here's what I got done in an hour or so though... :)

A bit of a silly question... whats gonna happen to your debt diary once you have got out of debt? You couldnt call it a debt diary because yould be debt free!!! maybe you could start a new diary called "Immoral Angels trying to stay debt free diary"
Had £80,000 in Savings - All GONE!!! BYE BYE

Uhhhhh....... well after all our credit cards have been cleared we'll be working on saving up enough to pay off our car loan so we technically won't be debt free until then. :)

Morning everyone... the girls were SO good again last night. Didn't hear a peep out of Ashli and K woke up once but after we gave her a dummy she went back to sleep til 7.30 this morning! When we woke up we could hear Ash playing in her room quite happily! :D

Hopefully pinky should arrive today... having checked the online banking we've only got £5 spare to last til weds but Ste's not at work tomorrow and we've got enough food/nappies/formula etc so we shouldn't need to use it. :)Ste's mate is back at work this week so Ste won't be driving except for weds but I'll be using the car tomorrow to go to the dentist as well as the race for life but we're still going to save petrol :)

We've also got £97 in savings which we're saving to make up for any deficit in Ste's wages once he starts his new job. Either way it's payday on friday so we should be able to save some extra by doing the new plan with using Ste's wages for bills and tax credits for living. :) Anything extra he gets will be able to be put into savings so we should be fine.

It's ste's last week at work this week! His last day is friday...... can't believe how excited he is!

you should state your car loan in your signiture as part of your debt remaining, it looks like this diary is going to continue after all. If the snooker cue is a good brand like riley then you should get a few pound for that but the cost of posting it is horrendous.

I bet you'll be glad that pay day is coming up... especially if you get paid monthly becuase its a long time to wait and you should be able to soon eliminate the citi card and you would only have the barclays and then egg to go... :)

The reason I don't include it is so that my focus is totally on the unsecured debt... then once all that is clear we can put all of our energy into clearing the car loan.. :)

Hey IA - liked the photos of all the effort you put in on the freecycle bass - that looks like *hard* work. Speaking of which....... Race for Life. Tomorrow. How you doing? And, as another shower deluges my neighbourhood, is it run on a track or cross country? How are you at running in mud? (terrible image - good luck with it anyway!).
