Sophia fell out of bed quite a bit- it got to the point that she'd fall, we'd hear a thud and then she wouldn't even wake up - I was the same apparently!!

I didn't have any problems with Freya but Joe was a lot harder to get used to sleeping in a cot bed.
Still enjoying amazing weather here in Canada (ok, I'm in Orillia now to be precise) and so far I have had a lovely time. I'm at my Mom's now and it is proving to be a lot more stressful for me... Her house is completely UN-childfriendly and I've been running around moving wine glasses, glass balls etc
away from the risk assesment that is my son. We drove up through the city where Scott and I used to live and stopped and looked at our old houses, was cool. We also had a typical lunch in a restaurant-I had the most lovely HOT chicken wings but the rest of the meal was unremarkable.
The kids have been so good-poor Joe is suffering from hayfever really badly and is a snot-factory. The played up a bit in the car on the drive up today but that can only be expected. It was stupid hot in that car and we got stuck in a traffic jam with NO petrol so we had to turn the air-con off.
I'm sitting looking over Lake Simcoe right now-lovely view and tomorrow I think we're going to go the a local Farmers Market and MAYBE (woohoo!) the CASINO. Cool huh? (ok, not very DFW but we're just going to look, honest!) All my spending money I had saved had to go pay my bills so Scott has a VERY firm control on the purse string. *sigh*
It is TOTOALLY weird about your Dad coming by Sar. My Dad lives in Toronto but I am not going to contact him. Not that I hate him or anything, I just don't know him...I really really hope this little pension helps you out.

Hi Bunny, glad you're having a good time, we're missing you!
How did Ash sleep last night in her new bed Sar? Any bumps and bruises this morning?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Tee hee - this all takes me back!
I can remember taking the sides off the cot bed, putting massive scatter cushions all over the place - great mum, me! :T
Went in next morning to find they'd rolled out of bed, landed on the cushions and then bounced right off them and slept UNDER the bed with their a***s in the air - could have been there for hours! - BAD mum!!!!!! :eek:
However,they are both perfectly normal and intact despite all thisDecluttering junk and debt in 2016

Ash did really well last night! Apart from the initial falling out of bed and bump on the head (No thanks to me lol) she slept soundly all night. I checked on her a few times when I was up with K and she was still in there. No obvious bumps or bruises but I did get a dawn chorus of 'muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmyyy' at 6am from her bedroom door... so I ended up putting her in bed with us which probably wasn't a good idea as she wouldn't go back to sleep and insisted on singing old macdonald had a farm and poking Ste in the eye! lmao!
the child benefit went in today THANK GOD so tonight we're going to have our first go at a '£50 a week shop' and the tax credits will replace it tomorrow and it'll then go into savings along with the £8.42 from tc.
So far on my weekly list I have
Nappies for Ash n K = £7.94
K formula = £6.38
Rice = 79p
Veg = £3
Fruit = £2
Frozen Mince = £2
Tins = £2
Mayo = £1.38
Ste sandwich meat = £4
Cheese - £2
Cooking sauces - £4
bag Pasta - £1
wipes - 2.36
washing up liquid - 17p
So far that lot comes to £39.04 so we've got some leeway.....
Going to put £10 petrol in the car too which'l last til next week... then Ste's got £30 and I've got £10 to last til next weds. We'll see what happens!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Hi IA,
Does this shopping list cover a meal plan you've done, or have you put down for your most 'normal' food stuff?
I found menu planning is great for the weekly shop, also means that I don't buy too much fruit & veg that then goes off!Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06 :eek:

IA - are you doing it online? If you spend over £60 I've got a £6 code you could use - remember if you get BOGOFs the total will be without the discounts, so it's still possible to spend less than £50 (and less with the code)

Hi IA,I've been an avid reader of your journal for a good month or so now (Found the link via BW). I think you're such an inspiration!
Can I be nosey and ask what sort of meals you have?
I'm in a similar boat family wise - Myself, hubby, a 21 month old and a 3 month old (On formula) to feed and we always spend atleast £70 per week - And that's with me trying to cut down!ThanksDebt - [STRIKE]£13,423[/STRIKE] £12,626
