Was really excited last night because SIL has asked me to go out on a girly night out on friday :D Only problem I'd agreed with Ste that he could have a new game that's coming out friday. BEcause of us living week to week now it was going to be tight with him getting the game and we can only just about afford to get that let alone me going out as well. *sigh*
Oh well. I hate this living week to week thing. Whereas before we could do something and then make up later in the month we can't now as if we overspend that's it it's all gone.

    Oh well.

Could you persuade Ste to wait until next week for the game? I know what men are like (I want it, and I want it NOW - sorry Ste, this is more a dig at my hubby than at you! ;)), but I'm sure you can be VERY persuasive....!

It might be worth having a one "saving" week, where you spend absolutely nothing extra. You can then use whatever is left at any point you feel like, and have another "saving" week to regain the money.

If the money is left at the end of the month you can put it toward debt if you want to.

IA - I will not allow (;)) OH to buy a new game brand new - when he wants a new one we ALWAYS get on ebay - most have been used but we have not yet paid over £25 and not have a duff 'un either!!

I suppose if it doesnt come out till Fri then he may not get a used one straight away but would he be willing to compromise on a week or so?

BTW - what game is it?

Or go out without any money, and flirt mercilessly until you have a queue of men waiting to buy drinks for you.... ;)

Forza 2  We're quite lucky that he gets discount so a new it would *only* cost £28.. but £28 is a lot of money when you've only got £120 in the bank and £53 worth of bills going out before next tax credits go in... Failing that he usually gets his games by trading in old games that he doesn't play anymore so will have to talk to him when he's on his lunch.

That's a good idea. Will mention it to Ste.
