Right have managed to save us a bit of money on the transport to and from cradle. As well as a train there I've managed to find one that comes back at 11.34 and a return ticket for both of us would be only £7.40 which is a lot better than the £18.80 we were going to pay! Now if I could just find some sort of promo code or something to make it even cheaper it'd be even better!
So the budget for cradle inc transport is now going to be £40 which helps us out to the tune of about 80p a day. Every little helps after all...Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Right have been working with figures for when my mat leave ends. According to entitled to we should get about £108 a week from tc which would be about £432 a month based on a 4 week month. Ste's basic is £850 even though he normally gets more.
So income would be about £1282 (min) every month, not including child benefit.
Bills would be about £820.89 a month once dotty p's is gone, food still £180 a month and petrol would be around £50 a month with Ste using the car.
So working it out it'd be something like
£1282
-£840.89 (inc extra £20 as I need to start saving for car tax/mot)
-£180
-£50
=£211.11 / 30 days = £7.03 a day
Which would leave the child benefit and any of Ste's overtime/bonuses to go towards the emergency/debt fund so minimum we'll be able to save every month is £120.80... which according to the snowball calculator would make us 'unsecured debt free' in July 08... so if we could pay any extra we may be able to bring it forward and the aim is to pay them off by the end of the year... Not sure how we're going to manage it but I'm sure we'll find a way somehow.
Edit.. it'd be July 08 if we paid barclaycard first, but June 08 if we paid Citi first so I think we're going to have to pay citi off first with the hope of cutting it down. Might look into transferring as much of the citi balance onto barclaycard as I can to help cut it down quicker...Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Hi IA,
Been away for the last few days and just had a very nice time catching up with your thread.
A big well done to Ste for passing his driving test! :j I didn't pass mine till third time and can still remember the utter fear before it, I was practically locked in the toilets swigging rescue remedy and praying for it to be over! I still remember that joyous moment driving alone for the first time. I think I went round the block about 20 times smiling and waving at everyone I saw, miracle I didn't crash actually!
I love reading your diary it gets me up and about and keeps me motivated when I panic. Good luck to you and your lovely family - i've got a sneaking suspicion you will be debt free in no time! :j
Love,

Got fed up of waiting for my winning bidder so have sent the second chance offer to the person who still wants it. Why do people bother bidding if they don't intend to pay??????Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Their bid was only £2 less than the winning bid plus they want to pick it up so will save money on postage and paypal fees if they bring cash.:pTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
