i second that!!
Just wondering Ia-do you save all your debt fund in a bank account and then pay your card off when you reach that amount? As it would save you a lot more in interest to pay it over to the cc first IYSWIM?
What we do is we save up over the month until we've got enough to pay it off in one go and then we pay it off straight away. I prefer being able to see our efforts 'build up' as it motivates us more than paying it off a card that we can't see the balance off apart from once a month. Does that make sense??Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Just checked ebay and the knackered Xbox is on £67.78 with 25 watchers!!!! Can't believe it! Our guess is that these people either take them apart for parts or fix whatever is wrong and then sell them on for a massive profit. Either way I don't care if they're going to give us £70 for something that is useless to us!! Woohoo! Plus it's total profit as we didn't pay anything for the new one!
Also we restarted K's routine after yesterday's troubles because of her jabs... last night she had her bottle at 8, bath at 8.30 and was in bed for 9. She didn't wake up until 6.30 this morning and that was only because she kicked her covers off and was cold. She then slept til 7.30!!! Think we've cracked it!Ste and I had an early night last night and were in bed by 10.30 and it was soo nice to have a whole night's uninterrupted sleep. Makes you realise just how tired you are!!

Ohhh it's so early in the morning to be working this stuff out but seeing as I had a good night's sleep last night my brain's going overtime
Today was the end of week 2 of our April debt/money challenge thingy and this week we saved £30.19 of our original budget which I've moved over to the debt account. So that leaves us..... (WARNING RANDOM WORKINGS OUT AHEAD)
In bank.. £306.98
-£42.85 Bills
-£40 for Ste's lesson and test
-£87.60 food budget
-£18.80 transport to cradle gig
-£30 beer money for cradle gig (I've discounted the money we saved from the transport so it makes things a bit easier for the rest of the month instead of going on beer. Ah well.)
= £87.83 / 13 days (Ste got a tenner out today which I've told him has got to last til tuesday.)
= £6.74 a day.
Not too bad and do-able. Am trying not to use the car at all unless I have to as don't have any petrol budget left, which means if I get petrol it's going to come off our daily budget instead... ouch!
Anyway it's worth it as because we've saved that extra £30 it means at the end of the month we'll have £702 which will leave £241 extra after paying dotty p's!!!!! DEFINATELY worth it.
Ste said yesterday that he wants all the ebay money to now go on debt instead of buying his game.
Hang on I've just figured out that we can pay dotty p's off THIS WEDS if we add £14.03 to it!   Will have to talk to Ste and see if we can 'borrow' £14.03 from our money until the tc replaces it the week after.... oooooh how exciting!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Sort of but if you set them up for online banking you'd be able to see them every day/hour/min and see them going down-or is that just me that checks all the time!!)0 -
Oh I_A you make me laugh, I really wish I could be as motivated as you. You seem to know exactly how much you've got at any given time.
Hope Ste agrees to 'borrowing' the money to get rid of dotty P. It'll be another one you can cross off.0 -

Trouble is because we don't have much I HAVE to know exactly what we have at any given moment so I know whether we're going to have enough to get through the month. Plus Ste needs targets to aim to as by his own admittance he's not as good at money as I am and would just spend it all like water. lol.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

I just can't believe how well your doing. I really wish I had half of your willpower. I'm a bit like Ste, I'm absolutely !!!!!! with money and I've got nobody to keep a watchful eye on me.0
