I have been where you are hopeless case and have now had one hip replaced and the other is about where you are now , from what you describe I would certainly be insisting on going back to your consultant and explain how bad your hip is affecting you, you don't say how old you are but I have know quite young people who have had to have this done and it will give you back your life... but you have to make yourself heard ...good luck#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

Sorry, but according to the DWP it is! One of the questions on the mobility part of the DLA Form asks you how far you can walk without pain or severe discomfort.
If the pain in your hips/back/legs (or wherever) is such that the act of walking increases that pain and causes severe discomfort then that can be enough to give you HRM.0 -

I knew it did but some people on this site just come on for a rant and rave which is non too helpful and not why the site was created.
