If anyone wants to be nosey, then head to the Norfolk Homes website and look at the Poringland development - I am buying one of the "newton C" type houses. Very different to what I have at the moment, but very practical and I am very much looking forward to the ease of that type of house, at least in the short to mid term.

I really like the look one one of those - nice! :D

Not bad, but to be honest, I'm (eventually) hoping for a stately home or a castle. That was my starter home. ;)

Morning all. I slept well last night which was most welcome, as I have a busy weekend. I am going for a run this morning then heading over to see some very special friends this afternoon/evening who I haven't seen for a few months. Tomorrow we are on an early train to London with a spot of shopping, the Theatre, and of course the Ritz before getting a late train home.

And somewhere I have to do the usual weekend washing of school uniforms, trip to the supermarket for basics at least, etc etc,

But for the next hour I am having sofa time. I hope you all have a good day x

Morning Hun - hope you're ok today :)

Sounds like you have a nice weekend planned. Make sure you eat some porridge or something v.nutricious before your run.
I am so carp. I haven't been regularly since the GNR :o I have no motivation at the moment I don't know why - must get my 'arris in gear!

Have a good one yourself x

Yes, I will try some porridge before I go - I've not done much running (ie none at all for 10 days) because I still don't have an appetite, and really haven't eaten enough to give me the energy to do what I want to do.

However, today will be a very slow run with runchum, so am hoping that it will help blow the cobwebs away as much as anything - if it achieves that, it will be a very positive thing, I reckon.

I have 22 weeks until the marathon - it is not long, really, so I need to get myself sorted and into a proper routine again, which as you know is not easy when you have birthdays and house moves getting in the way!!

Hi Hypno, hope you have a good run, and good luck with the marathon prep. Sound like a super weekend you've got planned.

Cheery Daff, you might not have lost weight with Shred, but did you lose inches? Muscle is denser than fat, so maybe you're more toned.

Opposite weight effect here, no exercise hardly for about 3 weeks due to tail end of this cold/flu bug, but it appears to be helping with the weight loss, now at 9 stone 9lbs, so only 4 lbs to get to the target I set. Still not quite in the jeans I should be in though, so hopefully will start the exercise again gradually. Can't restart the 0 to 5k yet, had to chase after OH yesterday with something he'd forgot, and ended up gasping/coughing :(

Anyway, hope everyone has a good day.

Hypno I tried to find the house but couldn't find the newton c on the site, can you post a link.

That was me the other day, small hotel, no lift, absolutely shattered by the time I carted my case to the room. I did the couch to 5k a few years ago, still have something on my mp3 player, maybe I should look at doing it again.
