Designer clothing? Isn't that just a con to get people to pay five times the normal price for clothes because it has a "fashionable/designer/label" name on it?

not necessarily no. It is often much better quality and I have found its false economy to buy and replace a £10 shirt 5 times when the £40 designer one will last.

Hollister in Manchester have a huge sale on before and after christmas.

Abercrombie only have one english store and that is in london, Which is a flagship store and hense NEVER has sales. I tend to be a bit naughty with Abercrombie and use an ip blocker so I can order from the american site :D

And pauls Boutique....Ebay?
I sell all my PB bags on there tbh, I sold my large quilted PB bag which I brought from selfridges for £80 for only £40.

I see someone mentioned Bicester.

SuperDry outlet is 30% off RRP and does have some current season stock.

G-Star Raw are also at Bicester, as are Juicy Couture, Jack Wills and Miss Sixty. I think these brands are all what the kids like!!

SuperDry e-bay outlet is also really good (as already mentioned) and does clearly detail (and show photos) of any impurities on the Seconds. Their feeback is something like 88000 positive

Pauls Boutique have a recommendation on their website not to buy from ebay:
Dear PB fans
Please be aware that we do not sell to the following:
• Market Stalls
• Cheap luggage shops
• Market pitches outside shopping centres
• eBay (although we are looking to have our own eBay outlet store)
For official stockists please look at our stockist page. Unfortunately it has been brought to our attention that there are a number of dishonest companies who are trying to copy our bags and hoodies such as Fashion Boutique and Sam's Boutique. We have successfully prosecuted two companies so far and we intend to clamp down on anyone else copying our products.
We have also had hundreds of very angry customers who have contacted us for our help. They have unwittingly bought FAKE Paul's Boutique items including bags on eBay and cheap luggage shops. This is a real problem as the FAKE bags often retail for more than the original PB bags.
We are advising you that these bags are FAKE, and by purchasing them you would be promoting illegal copyright infringement.
These fake bags cannot be returned to store or our website and are often made in third world conditions in China where child labour is prevalent.
Paul's Boutique prides itself in paying for experienced staff, excellent working conditions and above minimum wage salaries.
We do understand that PB fans will buy on eBay but please be aware that they may be FAKE.
Please, if in doubt contact us first so that we can advise if it is a FAKE or an original PB item. Email: fake@pauls-boutique.com
Thanks again for FIGHTING FAKES

Well people do sell their real bags on there, I am one of them.
And I have seen the fakes and TBH you can 100% tell, They don't have Pauls boutique written on the plaque and the charms are tacky looking.

My bags are real so at least 1 bag on ebay at this second is real :D

I wasn't saying that you sold fakes, I was saying that if an ebay customer is familiar with the website and has read the recommendation not to buy from ebay it may affect sales.

I am not saying it is right or wrong to buy "children" designer goods, but I would ask this question, can you really afford to do so, and keep it up? If so fine, but what about the "children" will they be tempted to overstretch themselves if they go on to higher education or end up with a job on around the minimum wage level? I just feel that fashions change so fast, and will the article go our of fashion before it has been worn sufficiently. Yes hey may be made to a higher quality, but not really convinced myself, as they are usually all made overseas, but if they last to long, will they really get worn that long. Just a thought. DG
