I didn't realise you could get clothes deals - I've never been but my son wants to go this year. Only because he loves Gok Wan so I'm not sure about taking him.

Welshsheep - welcome to MSE, where you learn to become an expert in moneysaving....

here's a free tip - don't make a rod for your own back by buying designer gear for your kids.:money:

If when they're older they want to spend their own hard-earned on designer gear then that' fair enough, but providing designer clothes for kids just makes it harder next time you buy them Tesco and they refuse to wear it.:)

I don't think the OP wants patronising, just help in finding the things she wants to buy as cheaply as possible. I am happy to buy my son the sort of clothes and brands he likes and which all his mates wear, and can afford to pay the RRP but don't want to if I can get them cheaper, that's still moneysaving in my book.

my dd has just discovered 'labels' esp animal, roxy, diesel, i dont think they are quite in the same price bracket but still quite expensive.

i have found surfdome quite good and boardridersguide is sometimes ok, can be a bit hit and miss.

TKMaxx regularly have diesel, roxy and animal clothing and accessories and often at a good price
  • Ive been to clothes show for the last 4 years and I love it and Im not really into fashion but go with DD and neice.
I think items are cheaper because they sell direct from there stands and are also promoting there products.
The fashion theatre is really good and I love watching the shows. also I think Gok many be doing a book signing tour this month I know he's near me in a few weeks time maybe have a google.
  • My daughter is like yours. I've just bought her the exact Superdry hoodie she wanted (£45 on the SD site) for £20 from the official Superdry shop on ebay. Most of the decent items are slight seconds, but although I have been over it with my eagle eye,I can't find any faults, so there's no way my daughter will notice. I've also bought her a superdry tin tab t-shirt that is £24.99 on the website for just £10.00. Its her birthday next week and I can't wait as no way would she be expecting both these.

My daughter also likes Roxy backpacks for school and I've bought one from Debenhams (70% off) and one from M&M (50% off). There are bargains to be had, but they don't hang around long.

I know it might seem mad spending these prices on children, but if that's what they want for their birthdays or christmas then that's fine. They only need a few nice things; the lot of the time my daughter gets clothes from Gap, H&M and Primark.

    Good Luck Welshsheep.
  • hollister is usually abit cheaper than abercrombie ... i think?
They are the same company but hollister is slightly cheaper? and also im not sure where i read this and might just be going completely mad, but i think somebody may have posted something about a discount for your first superdry order from the official site?
