Squeaky boots!

I just took them down and the manager said the same, that he didn't think it was their problem. He said he would have no idea how to process an exchange with the fault listed as a 'squeak'. I gave him a copy of the Sale of Goods act to read over and explained I felt it was an inherent problem in the manufacturing. He still didn't know how to proceed. I asked if the problem was that he simply didn't know what to list as a problem! In the end we had to put down that I was unhappy with the products finish and appearance due to some visible glue on the suede.
So ended up with a replacement but had to give a completely different reason to the actual problem! Hope it doesn't happen to this pair!
So you think there is an inherent problem in manufacturing, but you got a replacement of the same pair of boots?0 -

^ Yes, I just don't understand why you would get the same pair though. May just be me though!
If it is something to do with how they were manufactured, surely all pairs would be manufactured in the same way? So you are probably likely to get the same problem with the new pair.0 -
Yes, sorry, my terminology is probably wrong!
To give you the stereotypically 'girly' answer - they were very pretty boots! If it is indeed a manufacturing problem then yes the new pair will most likely do the same thing but I'd rather try out a replacement in the hope they won't than be boot-free until I can find a different pair.
I can certainly understand your point though!0 -

Can we see a pic of the boots? Or you in the boots?"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -
