Sorry - can't find it now. May have been deleted?

    :o
  • Having been wanting one of these mixers for ages, I stumbled across the "Black Friday" deal on Amazon today. I eagerly watched the countdown, clicked on it when it reached zero, the page loaded instantly....only to see "all items claimed"!!!! I phoned Amazon to see how it was possible for them all (how ever many there were in the first place) to be added to baskets and checked out within a second. I was told "others must have been quicker than you"!!!! I would like to know how so I can be that quick next time!

Did anyone actually manage to get one - congratulations if you did!
  • I did. :) I am so happy.

I encountered some problems but contrary to people hating on Amazon, they actually dealt with my query really well. I checked out incorrectly so they helped me again. So happy and will buy from there again no doubt.

I had the KitchenAid food processor. Everything was great for 15 years, then the bowl needed replacing and I was not able to find anything to fit (unless I was prepared to risk a bowl 'sight unseen' and ££££££s via a website). Based on that experience i.e. poor spares, i decided to buy a Magimix as my replacement. Please bear this in mind before you shell out nearly £300.
  • What was the reason for your bowl needing replacing?

I just got one (they came back on)

    so lucky and relieved
  • If anyone wants one, there are people selling them on Amazon.

I made a check with the person who created a topic, and all seems genuine. I would go for it. Any price under £200 is good but I'll keep looking out.

  • I bought a KA Artisan a couple of months ago now. Its was £370 but it came with a free additional bowl. I got it from an online shop called Harts of Stur - their service was amazing-would really recommend them :)

How much did they go for?

There's some around the £200 mark on ebay but it would be interesting to see what they went for on Amazon Black Friday.
