Really looking for one of these, either the classic or artisan. I don't mind which model, but it has to be affordable.
I have seen them at £230, but if anyone can get it into the 100s that would be great.
Amazon reviews state that during Christmas last year and the year before, they manages to get it at half price for about £150. Fantastic price for th UK.
So if anyone sees any, do post in this thread. Thank you.

Good luck with your search. I spent around 18 months searching high and low to get one for below the £300 mark and eventually gave up. Amazon made me mad because when you searched it showed them at something like £240 but when you actually clicked onto the merchant the cheapest one was well over £300.
I ended up buying mine here and it came with some free gadgets.
If you can I would go for the Artisan model as I think it's more powerful.
I love it to bits though and it's been well used. I also was sensible and bought the cream Artisan one although I desperately wanted the candy apple red or the baby pink.0 -
Did you buy them for over £300?Debt free

unfortunately yes, ended up spending £369. That was as much as I could get it down to.
QVC have the one at £350 just now

however I'm sure at the time it was launched it was on 4 payments which made it a bit easier to swallow. They've never had the Artisan one though.
I've never looked on ebay - maybe worth a try especially after Christmas - you may get someone selling one which was an unwanted gift.0 -
I think I will sick to the classic because the price jumps when it comes to Artisan although after speaking to many people they don't find much of a difference. Since it's for home use, I can get the classic, which I have found for just over £200, but still not purchasing in case there is a price drop anywhere.Debt free

I have had a classic for several years and love it. Would not dream of wasting the xtra cash on buying an Artisan....they are not worth it, when you are using it for normal home use.
Bought mine for £199 from AmazonWhen life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!0 -
I guess as the years go by the prices increase too. Still haven't found it for under £200.Debt free

Artisan runs at higher watts and has a bigger bowl, and also comes with the shield so the ingredients don't go flying everywhere. Other than that not much of a difference.Debt free

An excellent choice.
Well worth a look at ebay. An auction ending tomorrow (Sunday) for a new one currently stands at £190, though I imagine it will rise.
Worth considering a used one. My experience with buying on Ebay has been 100%0
