I have generally been able to pop out keys on various keyboards by just using a thin screwdriver to try to lift the key upwards as vartically as possible.

Depending on the keyboard... you might break it!

Some of the larger keys (like the spacebar and enter keys) and the thin type of keys you get on laptops have much more cunning spring mechanisms which clip onto the underside of the keys and can be almost impossible to replace.

Thank you to all. I will pop along to Tesco and also have a look at the Saitek one (it looks great on the link) and try PC world as well. My existing one looks great so I don't really understand why it sticks so badly. It's about 8 years old and none of the figures have rubbed off.

Hi. Asda selling them for under £5 - but as with everything else, you get what you pay for. Looked smart though. :)

  • Ebuyer.com have one for £2.97 - delivery is something like £3 but if you are ordering other stuff it's worth looking at.

The £3 keyboard isn't just a simple one either, it's got the extra buttons for controlling volume and playing music along with the shortcut keys for Web Browsing.

I guess it also depends if you wont a keyboard that will last you years but you pay a bit for it to start with or prefer to get a supermarket special but accept you probably will want to replace it every year or two.
