My keyboard sticks and I have been advised on here that I need to get a new one. (I had thought there would be a way to degunge it).
Does anyone have an opinion about the best keyboard to buy? My existing one is a Dell.

Pop down PC World & have a play with the ones on display - you can get cheap keyboards, as John says, but if you're looking for something which feels comfortable & will last then you need to test them out. I'm still using a Microsoft Internet keyboard which is 5+ years old & is still working fine - you definitely pay for quality in keyboards.0

I've been using Logitech Dinovo for a couple of years now and it's great, by far the best keyboard I've ever used."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I've got a Microsoft Internet keyboard too, and just bought a second one for my work PC. They're basic, but solidly built, and I find them very ergonomic.0

Also have a MS Internet Keyboard that must be nearly 10 years old now and other than looking a little grubby works perfectly where as my laptop keyboard and a cheap logitech one (1 and 2 years old respective) already look worn and some of the lettering is disappearing from the keys (but function fine)All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

Leave the keys in and use the hoover with the brush attachment on the hose - works well.
Unplug it or take the batteries out first, otherwise the pc goes beserk !0 -

The USB version is about £20. Simple design, has just the keys you need. Plus they easily pop on/off so you can clean underneath.
Only downside is being white, the dirt is more noticable. Although I use this as an indicator when it needs a clean."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
