Morning All
We had rain in the early hours but it seems to have dried up now and hopefully it will be a dry but cold day.
I have a few errands to do in town today (paying bills, library, put a prescription in etc) - I was going to do it tomorrow when I go shopping but the forecast looks foul so I am taking the opportunity while I can.
DH is not a happy bunny, he went to get something from the new shed and found that it is leaking in a couple of places, so he is going up on the roof today when he gets home from work to check it out.
adelight - I have one of these in case the heating breaks down, they certainly warm up the room

Well I had better get my self in gear, grab another coffee and scoot down to town
Keep warm all xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Morning all.............................(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.
A bright cold morning, thank heavens the wind has dropped, it all looks very calm out there, but the forecast is for high winds later.....uuuugggghhhhh.
OH seems to be re-gaining some strength, he has asked to go to the library today to get books which is a good sign. I told him I will take him after he has had his rest this afternoon.
I am going to have a look at the laundry situation as its a fine morning might get it mostly dry........depends if there is enough for a load. Nothing else planned, will light the stove later so it kicks in when the heating goes off.
It will be the weekend or early next week before the you know what comes........

morning!
off to work later(2pm) so doing a few jobs this morning. My sister has just gone - she called round with a magazine and a big bag of cooking apples:T
Lunch is HM leek and potato soup made yesterday evening. Tea is cauli cheese and veggie burger at work. DH will have his favourite from the freezer as DS is out.
Got a pile of ironing to do this morning and WM is on - dry here so might get it out on the line for DH to get in later.
jc - good luck with your interview tomorrow x
Redruby - hope little dog's ok x
JackieG - good luck looking for a school for DS x
I dont have a Kenwood - got no where to keep one, storage is useless in my kitchen. I manage with an old electric mixer(had it donkeys years) a hand blener and a liquidiser. To be honest the hand blender gets the most use - its a good Moulinex one with little attachments.
hope you all have a great day
take care xDo what you love :happyhear0 -

Good morning chums ,gosh it was a nippy one this morning.Still wrapped up well to do the school run with the boys .
I had to pick them up from school, yesterday and as I was about to cross the road on the other side I watched as four youngsters aged around 12-13 two boys and two girls verbally abused and harrased the lollipop man He is a lovely old chap who is always cheery with the children and say good morning to everyone I couldn't believe how these awful children were swearing and cursing this old chap and all he was doing was going about his job.By the time I got across the road they had scarpered shouting foul language behind them for no apparent reason.I had a word with him and said if he wants to report them to their school I will back him up on their behaviour. There is a girls school and boys adjoining it about five minutes from the primary school so we know where they came from. These were Ist year senior children, not older ones, but youngsters. If they get away with this who will they move onto next I wonder. What is this world coming to when older folk are shouted, sworn and spat at just for doing their job.I was disgusted to say the least.
Today I am about to start some batch baking and cooking so I had better get a wriggle on .Washing is blowing on the line at the moment so i'm hoping I can get it dry by lunchtime Rain is forecast tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a good day
take care all

Of course we remember you. And guess what I am off to see Morten and the boys a week on Friday :j:j:j:j:j Must remember to take a camera to post some pics, assuming I can stop [STRIKE]lusting[/STRIKE] enjoying myself long enough :rotfl:
Another busy morning. Headed straight up Sainsbury's to do my food shopping AND stuck to the list
My mum and dad had a bad night with their elderly choc lab. She had a lump removed yesterday and the anaesthetic has really upset her so they ended up taking her back at 2am this morning  Just taken my mum down to pick up Boo Bear (our nickname for her) and poor lovey is sooooooo stressed, keeps crying, unsettled etc. Needs lots of kisses and cuddles and TLC.
Plans for this afternoon is baking, baking and more baking
Gonna make a sponge and some cheese straws for DS's lunchbox.
Got a large chicken to cook too. Seeing all the fancy tins of biscuits in the supermarket has prompted me too look at making some of my own for Christmas. I have succumbed in the past and at £4.99 (half price ) they are soooooo not worth the money, mostly bloomin' plastic trays.......I have a massive biscuit and cookie book so will try and have a nose at that to see what I fancy making.
JC - good luck for tomorrow's interview. Positive vibes for you xx
Sorry minds gone blank on all the other posts and I need to get my butt into gear
Hugs, spoons and high fives all round. Have a good day OS or not.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
All will be well in the end. If it's not well, it's not the end.Be humble for you are made of earth. Be noble for you are made of stars0 -
Mrs MH - we remember you!;)
Bitsy - hope Boo Bear is soon feeling happier xDo what you love :happyhear0
