How about a cd, mini headphones, cd cleaning kit, a beer or swap for a dvd and add popcorn for a movie theme

I made one of these for my 18 year old brother in law and also for my husband and both were great successes. I included DVD, popcorn, cider, peanuts, sweets, choc, CD etc. As I had quite a lot of stuff to put in my husbands and couldn't find a basket of that size I decided to put it all in a roasting tray which he then used on Christmas day! :D

For my son (in his mid 30's) I make up a shoe box of 'sensible and silly'..........he's still a kid at heart.
So far for his birthday in March I've got a kids 'starter' meccano set from charity shop -£1.
His Christmas box had a candle in it that looked like a wine bottle complete with box, he had some tea bags I'd got free, incense burners, gloves, calendar,a weird musical thing I found that he's fascinated with, handmade soap, hand towel. Think that was about it.

Depends on the male interests really. My son's a vegetarian so in the past he's had cookbooks, he's also had assortment of different teas, mustards etc.

  • How about a poster as well? Or a lads mag (for the 'pamper' giftbasket). Superdrug have packs of lynx and other male gift sets on sale atm so you could buy a couple and spread the contents round (since each gift set usually has a couple of things in it).

Edit: Also, don't forget a Yorkie bar - they're for men only ;)
  • Hi

Don't know if I'm posting in the right place for this but...

My BF is moving out of his parents house and in to a new one and I was thinking of maybe making him a New House Survival Kit for christmas.

Any suggestions for what I could include would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks

Hi I'm looking for ideas for hampers for men, thanks for the ideas posted here :)
I'm thinking of using CD storage boxes like these sold in Ikea http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/80224317/#/00224316
Thinking that I can stand the box inside the upturned lid and cover with cellophane when filled. Priced at 2 for £2.75 I don't think it's too expensive as it becomes part of the present... (might be considered more 'manly' than baskets and you can colour co-ordinate!)
    Hope it helps someone :)
