Hi Folks!
I'm looking to put together mini hampers for the men. Costing no more than £10-£25 depending on the closeness of the relationship...:rotfl:
Can you put your heads together and help me think of some fun and funky things to put in them, so far I have a miserable:
Socks
Shaving Balm Sachets
Chocolate
£5 CD/DVD Vouchers
And something cool to put them all into would be great too!!
TIA! :T

I am having the same nightmare for 20 year old son!
A gym towel if he is that way inclined may be an idea. Toothbrush and paste maybe some deodorant or body spray.
Think laterally - a voucher to get hair cut - "I promise to pay for your next haircut" type thing, if they drive something for the car like air freshner, screen wipes, screen wash or token for car vac!
This is soooooo difficult.

For my boyfriend I tend to buy some alchohol related gifts.
Boots have some nice ones on the 3 for 2 offer, and in Tesco they have some nice sets also.
What about getting some minatures for the hamper.

Also this is a good site for cool gifts.

I don't know how old the men are that you are buying for. But I'm making a smal hamper for my FIL. So far I've got a miniature bottle of whiskey & crackers and then closer to Christmas I will buy a piece of cheese and chestnuts as well to put in. Cost comes to just under 15 pound
Just a few small things I know he likes...
Edit: I used site in the link mentioned above http://www.justminiatures.co.uk/pages-main/index.html I have bought quite a few bottles from them. Quick delivery as well, received them the following day.0 -
Asda has good minatures - Jack daniels, whisky, vodka, etc, in a plastic box with a chocolate sweet included.
They usually have them on offer at 3 for £5 during November.Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Does anyone have any good ideas for storing the goodies in? Something inexpensive so I can spend the majority of it on pressies.:D2024 Challenges

I think it might have been mentioned as well on other threads but have you thought of making perhaps a winter warmer basket. A few things to put in could be: Gloves, cup of soup, strepsils, water bottle, cup/mug with a sachet of hot chocolate, magazine......0

Again this is something I read on a different thread here that you can take a normal box and wrap in Christmas paper and leave it open, and perhaps after wrap it in cellophane with a bow.
you can get cellophane quite cheap from a florist and a box you could get free from your supermarket or local shop0 -
What about small gadget things - like a keyring that you can test tyre pressure and treds with, small torch, small pack of screwdrivers, daft things that plug into USB sockets like lights and fans.
My Dad and brother love stuff like that! Here I go again on my own....0 -
I'm doing this kind of thing for my brother. He's into the environment and things like that and so far I have got a mousemat made of recycled tyres, some pens made from old video cases, some pencils made from plastic cups, some fairtrade chocolate, some 'organic' socks (!) and a calculator that runs on water (found at the Eden project when I was on holiday!). I'd quite like a couple more ideas along the ecology/recycling theme if anyone has any.0
