Easynights Ltd, Leeds - elderly please read

Good news. Lorraine Bryan - of Powermatic, More than Mobility, and so many other scamming bed companies - has now received her own 10 year business asbo. Following on from those given to Amanda Goor, Steven Capstick, and Paul Close, Bryan has been told not to breach unfair trading practises, sale of goods, and doorstep selling regs.
Bryan has been acting as a saleswoman for Easynights Ltd - she is banned as a director and should not be involved in running a company in any way, shape or form. Here's an example of what she has been up to:
"Lorraine Bryan was identified in the new trading style Easynights Ltd, when her name appeared on a contract, acting as a salesperson for the company. The 77 year old woman that Bryan had contracted with had Alzheimer’s disease and Power of Attorney had been put in place due to the consumer’s extreme vulnerability. The consumer recalls having a phone call and advised that she did not want anyone to come and visit. However this did not stop the company from visiting and Lorraine Bryan staying in the consumer’s house for several hours in order to complete the sale for an electric reclining chair for £2400 despite the consumer advising that she did not want the chair.
Easynights Ltd specifically targeted elderly vulnerable consumers in their own homes, employed high pressure sales techniques in order to supply products at extortionate prices where similar products can be bought on the high street for a fraction of the price."
The story was in Friday's Evening Post and is here in full:

"West Yorkshire Trading Standards Service urge any West Yorkshire consumer who have been contacted by a mobility aid business recently and have any concerns you have about the legitimacy or trading tactics of that trader to contact Consumer Direct on 08454 040506"
Lorraine Bryan did not attend court - judge not impressed - claiming she has broken her leg, according to the Evening Post. Maybe she didn't want her photo in the EP.

Thanks for that Trisontana, I was hoping the Mirror would pick up the story. I am sure there will be more to follow. It all helps to get their names known and Trading Standards are very interested to hear from other customers.
Just to be clear:
Lorraine Bryan, Amanda Goor, Steven Capstick, and Paul Close - all served with business asbo's, so if anyone has any concerns about their business behaviour or selling of mobility products, contact West Yorks Trading Standards via Consumer Direct on 0845 404 0506. I am sure TS would like to hear from past customers.
Lorraine Bryan and Amanda Goor - banned as directors and should not be involved in running a company in any way. It would be a criminal offence.
If a banned director breaches their disqualification order or undertaking, they will be personally liable for the company's debts incurred during the breach. The same applies to anyone involved in the management of the company who carries out their instructions knowing that they are disqualified. Anyone acting as a 'front' director, following the instructions of a banned director, can be made personally liable for the company's debts when it is shut.0
