It did actually, check out recent sales in DE4 2JG, you're looking for the White Cottage, house next to ours (valued at 350k), which is smaller with less land. Once you've found that, i'll pop up a copy of our tenancy agreement and bank statement snippet showing the rent outgoing. Then you can come back and lick my boot for doubting it.
EDIT, Here, i'll help you out with the first bit..... http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-24594016.html553780080 -
I do believe that satisfies your query Mr Ghoul, feel free to visit me and have a chat about renting at bargaintastic rates via (OMG) an Estate Agents!!!, you'll want to visit the bigger house on the left of the White Cottage as you come up the private road. My door is open between 9-5:30. Feel free to contact Fidler Taylor regarding my rental status, while you're at it bring some boot polish because you'll need it after the amount of boot licking you'll be performing.. I normally use a machine but in this instance, you'll do.553780080 -

Doesn`t make me bitter either....in fact £750 pm for a house worth 700k is a bargain & no way I`d pay so little on a mortgage for this place. (nor could I ever afford a house like this!)
I have paid off 3 mortgages in my lifetime & I pay less here than an interest only mortgage so the way I see it I`m paying less too
I also really like the flexibility to move whenever I want to without all that costly housemoving faff & stress:D0 -
Bump just in case anyone missed Ghouls epic own goal0

Renting is very handy for people who are moving quite often.
Some people who do a contracting job, builders/ construction projects will need to rent in the areas where they are working to keep mobility in place.
Keep in mind selling property make take years
ADINDASI cannot really understand why some people are bitter about renting.
True, you could look at it that you are paying off somebodies mortgage and making them rich.
I personally don't feel like that at all. I'm lucky to see the story from both sides of the fence. I own a house and rent one of somebody else. I don't feel at all bitter and twisted when it's rent day.
Fair play to them. They had the brains and vision to buy the house and deserve a return.
I don't consider my landlord to be a scumbag or any of the other bad names used on here to describe the person providing a roof over tenants heads.
I think a lot of rents will have to rise soon. This will probably make the bitterness even worse.
I wish it would stop.0
