guys thought i would put up my list of fireworks i have for our yearly firework street party. We only seem to have the supermarkets here i do know of a year round shop about 30 mins away so might check that out.
Asda:
2 x Packs of TNT Powder Keg (These seem quite heavy for what they are) £3 each pack of two
1 x Pumpkin Fountain (my three year old chose this because it is a pumpkin, does seem a bit cheapy and crappy) £5
Lidl:
1 x 25 carat
1 x Ipanema 2 for £12
1 x firefighter £9.99
Morrison:
2 x TNT Colour Explosion (These are BOGOF and are really quite heavy) £10 for the two
Total so far: £42.99 Also have about seven or eight packs of sparklers left over from last year.
I really want some mega loud rockets, don't seem to be able to get them from the supermarkets this year.
Couple of years ago we had some Black Mamba Rockets from Morrisons, they were really quite loud could do with some more of that or similar.Compatible ink cartridges from 87p each here0 -
where's that? I went to the Firework Superstore out in Hillington (near Braehead) last year and I will be going again soon, their stuff was excellent.
Talking about the one in hillington any one think they could upload this catalogue into a picture cause i cant view it for some reason

P.S Ignore the background in my photograph, it's my mums house!! :rotfl:
Great stash pic by the way! Thanks for posting, Ive watched the videos on youtube for quite a few of the fireworks you have they all look brilliant especially for those prices!
Good to hear you got to Lidl too, sure you will enjoy those two cakes!
Jockey, you have some good stuff there that you have chosen from supermarkets. Those powder keg mines are very good for the price Ive had them in the past. And you have deffinitly went for the right things from Lidl!
Also about rockets, you could get terminal velocity from Aldi- £9.99 for 18 I think. I had them last year, there not big but they are one of the best packs you can buy from a supermarket (nice and loud too for the size of them!)0 -
Sounds amazing

Unfortunately not an Aldi within 40 miles, i am considering popping down to http://www.sonicfireworkshop.com/ in cullumpton at the weekend they have some good rocket packs and some other fireworks.
Normally on our firework party everyone brings some fireworks so we have a nice big show, i think last year it lasted for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
On another note i noticed that the Argos fireworks are the exact same as Homebase but they are different offers. Homebase are offering BOGOF on all except the Ballistic Blaze and Brute Force packs. In Argos instead of BOGOF they are half price inc the two that aren't on offer in Homebase.Compatible ink cartridges from 87p each here0 -

That's not completely terrible, for the money not bad really. Can you remember which ones they were? (pic below) I did grab a pack in the end but haven't heard great things about them since.. Two of them called, "Big Crackles Rocket" state "Monster Bang" on the head, was it these?? (Mind you, two smaller ones also claim monster bangs too..)
Cheers for the vid0 -
