The Great Cheap, Safe Fireworks Hunt

I don't know if this is of any use, but I made a spreadsheeet of quite a few of the fireworks on offer at some of the supermarkets, Bulldog and somewhere that sells Black cat fireworks online (discountfireworksonline) at discounted prices. It's incomplete (I only put in stuff that looked interesting to me) and may not be 100% accurate, but may give you an idea of what to buy and where

I've finally come up with a fireworks shopping list and I'll hopefully be able to get them all tomorrow
LIDL
25 Carat & Ipanema @ £12
Firefighter @ £9.99
Maybe another 25 Carat & Cyber Box @ £12 or Firepack @ £12.99
ALDI
Terminal Velocity @ £9.99
Thrilling @ £4.99
ASDA
Meteor Shower & Sparkling Treasure @ £10
Powder Keg @ £3
Gold Sparklers @ £1
I have a packet of Shooting Stars (rockets) leftover from ASDA that I bought along with the Meteor Shower pack the other day. For a fiver, the Meteor Shower pack was well worth the money - my girlfriend is quite excitable and really enjoyed them but I think I'm gonna be disappointed with the Shooting Stars rockets.
Quick question... Where can I get hold of "launch tubes"? My neighbour gave me a long cardboard one last year but I've misplaced it and can't seem to find any online. Is there anywhere that might sell them or anything I might have around the house that will do the job?0 -

Best bet is to buy another pack of rockets i use the handle off a shopping trolley best pound i ever spent0 -
Yeah, the Terminal Velocity box from Aldi is a packet of 16 rockets which are supposedly pretty good. I'm not sure about the shopping trolley idea... I've got my mum coming to mine for bonfire night and I don't think I'd be able to convince her I had only borrowed it lol0

I spray painted it black looks just looks like a think rocket tube lol0 -
You can buy suitable tube from pretty much any DIY store. Should cost a couple of quid at most.
Ideally you'd want something 1m tall with a 2cm diameter.0 -
had a great weekend! i went to that garden centre and stocked up on a load of fireworks. they had some fantastic deals on and you could save a load of money off the rrp. i became a member and basically got the stuff at trade price
