Just decided that I am able stretch to spend another £12 on fireworks,

So I just need to decide weather to buy another 1 of each cake or 2 of the 25 carat because after watching that 2nd video it looks amazing!

Very tempted myself! But overspent yesterday at the garden centre... As per usual... Every year... :rotfl:

Has anyone fired an Ipanema? That may be even better!

Haha yeah would be great if someone posted a video of Inpanema now! But, I think that I will go with 2 25 carat due to the fact that I have seen 3/4 different videos of it and it looks amazing!

Im looking soo forward to firing these as well as fire fighter now!

I had planned to go to Epic but went to my local garden centre yesterday and the fireworks were much much cheaper plus I saved about £40 in diesel.. which went on more fireworks :D (It's about 180 mile round trip for me) Epic's website looks fantastic and the fireworks great but they can't compete on price, most of the year round specialist sellers seem expensive. Don't overlook your local garden centres folks, mine is excellent!

The ones at my local garden centre are well over priced. They want £15 for smaller cakes (not even close to the Weco 25 Carat in quality) and the rocket packs start at £15 for 4 mid sized 1.4g rockets.

I've shopped around at various garden centres and haven't found any that are anywhere near the price of Epic. Most tend to sell Standard or Black Cat 1.4g items and they're similar prices to the Sainsburys stuff.

If you've found somewhere cheaper, share the information! That's what this site is all about!!!

Well that wasn't my experience, they wanted just a few ££ for the smaller cakes and £8 got a huge thing, I bought 3 huuuge things :D £8 would get me nothing comparable at Epic. I'm just saying don't believe the hype too much that surrounds the all year round sellers, there's better local deals out there as I found yesterday.

I didn't mention the garden centre as it's just my local roadside centre unlike say a countrywide firework selling operation such as Lidl etc but it's Melbicks Garden Centre Birmingham if anyone's local I guess

I'll unpack a few pieces later and try & get piccies/prices etc, they're all still in the motor in the garage :D
