it is up to a member of the general public to use their "own" common sense if they wish to move a 25m firework nearer. It is their decision and you should not be implying under any circumstances that it is okay to ever move a firework closer than the recommended distance however small the firework is. It is comments like you have made on here that could eventually end the sale of all fireworks to the general public.

my comments will NOT end up in fireworks being banned trevor, its up to the govt not you! And the govt will NOT ban the sale of fireworks to the public as you think it will because they fear the blackmarket sale of unsafe imported fireworks would take over from legal sales.

The Ipanema is a little smaller than the 25 Carat side by side, I get about 850g for the Ipanema and 1050g for the 25 Carat. I'd think the Ipanema would be the slightly better bet though as titanium/silver flashes show up better than the more golden effect of the 25 Carat :

Any chance of the weight of fire fight ?

Yeah, bound to be, make sure you're the first through the door to be sure though :D

The Firefighter Cake in the flesh seems different to the one in the brochure, the brochure version is a sharp edged square but the actual one on sale is a soft rounded corner affair - I think it's the 2009/2010 version shown at the start of this video, it looks exactly this cake :

(Still seems to perform OK though!)

I bought the cocktail of rockets (4 small rockets and 4 large rockets in the packet) and tested them in the garden, there not that good actually. I also bought the 25 carat goldwave which is an absolute corker of a cake, and two for 12pounds is a bloody steal, the clips on youtube dont do it any justice. I doubt you'll find a better cake for that price, i'm going to buy another 4 tomorrow. I also bought the FireFighter cake, i hav'nt lit that one yet, saving that till bonfire night. Phil
