That £4 selection box looks a real bargain if that's what's left AFTER you've fired the bigger pieces

If you need to "test" another before the big day lol I can recommend the small red "Volcano" in the Cyber Pack, you won't be disappointed for such a tiddler :D

  • right now guys im picking up a nother £260 of fireworks on bonfire night its self to add to my collection now i was planning on going back to the firework warehouse but ive stumbled across jtf their prices look amazing and im thinking of buying the chemical rain rocket pack for £99.99 32 pyro meshed rockets it looks great but whats putting me off is that ive not had any of the rockets before and im not shore how they compare to rockets like panther, superior i was originaly going to pick up 1 superior pack, 1 panther pacl, 1 king-dom pack but thats going to be over £150 for 12 rockets now i dont mind paying that but when some were is selling 32 pyro meshed rockets for less than £100 it makes me think i should be going to jtf so what do yous think should i go for the superior, panther & king-dom for over £150 or should i get jtfs 32 pyro meshed rockets for £99.99

also if i got jtf im thinking of a sonic shock wave barrage pack for £39.99
also a magnitude selection box for £39.99
also a sonic thunder barrage pack for £19.99
5 packs of black wido rockets £1.95 each
1 stella impact rocket pack 21 rockets for £12.99
1 pack of supreme sky storm rockets 30 for £19.99
1 vesuviouse monster cone fauntain £5.99
    1 cascade 5 mine pack £4.99
2 packs of tri-coloure weels £1.95 each 2 pices per pack
2 packs of 2 widow candles £4.95 each

A bit of advice - do not buy the Magnitude selection box, the individual items are quite poor quality. For example, in the one I bought, the clay bases on one of the mines had disintigrated. As well as that, the rockets in it are really very bad, and the 18 shot barrages are just small roman candle style star ejections. No real power to it, at least not for the £50. You'd be better spending it on one of the barrage packs. :)

On your VAT just add £17.5 per £100 spent or multiply the total spend x 1.175

    £260 x 1.175 = £305.50 so £45.50 VAT on top.

The Chemical Rain pack will be £117 all in inc VAT and be a cracking selection, don't know about the other stuff.
  • il take your advice but thats exactly what im worrying about like the pyro meshed rockets for £99.99 not including the stupid vat will they be or right thats what im worrying about and im thinking will i still be saving going to jtf as im not shore about vat prices can some one help tell me what vat costs im looking at as im wondering is it worth going or should i just go manchester fireworks or the firework warehouse

The Scud Silo rockets in particular stand out as being really quite good. That Magnitude box was listed as £40 and I paid about £46 so it wasn't too much of a problem. Obviously as the price increases, the worse the VAT gets.

I'd get the £40 barrage pack, and then maybe some individual items (I think there is one 44 shot barrage called Plasma Power or something like that, very good breaks for the money).

Can anyone point me in the direction of good deals in Glasgow/Lanarkshire looking to spend £100/£150 , dont need anything to fancy ie big lol

I've just been to the Firework Superstore in Hillington (near Braehead) tonight and they have loads of stuff. Check out their website below, you can download their leaflet and see some videos

I can recommend the torrent and sunset barrages, we got these last year and got more this year. The Emerald nights is calling to me too, might have to make another visit.

p.s. I asked for Dazzling Colours, they were out of stock so substituted it with something more expensive for the same price :T
