Dfs Sofa

I am looking to buy a suite from DFS. Is there any way to get discount from them? Are there any vouchers or anything like Quidco etc.

i bought a leather settee from DFS 3 years ago and wasn't that impressed, the type of leather was different to what was shown instore....grrrr...and I also had some problems with the recliner function....double grrrrr....

my bro-in-law bought a suite from Land of Leather....looks better than mine (his isn't a recliner though) and was much cheaper too.

    purely a personal opinion/ experience....

WE had ours delivered about 4 mths ago. Pay with cash and you may be able to haggle a bit. WE got £50 knocked off!
Very happy with our corner suite - exactly what we wanted.

We ordered one, they said "Oh yes, it will come apart to fit through your flat" 8 weeks later, it gets delivered and yep you've guessed it, it doesn't come apart.

Had to pick out another one and now we have to wait another 8 weeks! They have loaned us a sofa so it's not all bad.

if i was u i would keep well clear of DFS we bought a leather 3 piece of them costing £3500.00 absolute crap
i would recommend a company called custom made furniture, where there is over 4000 different frabrics & leathers to choose from and u can have your furniture made to any spec you want
EG height, depth, hard cushions or soft the list is endless and a lot cheaper than DFS
    hope this helps

I would always haggle with these companies especially when you know that the average price they pay is abround £200

They get them made in China or Japan(thats why they try and make it difficult to return them)
and get bulk lots shipped over to the Cash Cow of Europe or as we call it
    the UK !!

They are ridiculous prices to pay for a seat!!
If you dont ask you dont get!!
