Lets look at that financially. The place I'm in would cost around £850 per month.
850 x 45 x 12 = 459000. a tidy sum:beer:

Oops forgot about that, and the kitchen / bathroom upgrade, boiler replacement, etc every couple of years.
Also on the renting side, being kicked out every 6 months (although I have a tenant in one property of 5 years

Nevertheless, my post turns out to be a correct prediction, once again.
Firstly, your prediction was a bit of a cop out. "They will be highe in Nov 11". Great. That narrows it down.
Second, only nationwide is currently showing an annual positive, hali and lr are both negative yoy. Though there is still a bit of time for each.
Third, neither of us quoted nominal or real, but let's guess, you were nominal and I was real.0 -
I predict houses will rise by this time next year.
I'd say average property price will be £170,000 by November 2011 and mortgages will be more available than now.
There is a much better feeling this month. Property has started to really move and good prices are being achieved.
I think good consumer spending up until Christmas, a few sales and people will have the good feeling back.
Don't listen to the doom and gloomers. Believe what your eyes tell you. Look for the sold signs and queues in the shops.
