can u find out who stole clubcard vouchers and can u get them back?

I moved a while ago. Vouchers have been spent and not by me! Can i getthem back and find out who spent them?

ive had exactly the same problem! I rang them up (0800 59 16 88) and explained the situation and they will re-issue the unused vouchers i had but for the ones that were spent, i need to write to the head office (pm me if you want the address) with copies of my clubcards (i have two that are linked) and they will look into it.

Unfortunatly in my case, clubcard forgot to update my address and sent the vouchers out to my old address.

I honestly don't think you can do anything about this I've had a little look on Tesco's site for you and as far as I can see they say it's up to you to notify them of a change of address, so I imagine they would use that as a get-out clause and say it's not their fault you've had them stolen and spent.

I'm guessing they were spent by the people who live in your old property? Go 'round, & demand the money back

they said they forwarded them on to me..... clearly they didnt.

oh well, suppose you win some, you lose some...

Tesco were no bl00dy help either.

This has happened to me too. Tesco tried to not refund me but as a good will gesture have issued the vouchers again...they should be included in this times statement, hopefully.

You can ask Tesco when and where they were spent. If they were spent in store they would be on camera. Also you are not meant to be able to use the vouchers without your corresponding clubcard so if Tesco have accepted them it's their mistake. Have you asked clubcard if they will recredit them? You are in the wrong as you hadn't changed your address but Tesco were also wrong for accepting them so I wouldn't give up on them yet.

They say coupons are cash so surely theyd be able to see what store they were spent in and check cctv cameras? its theft?!!!!

They normally will tell you exactly when and where spent. Checkout staff are told not to accept the vouchers without the clubcard.

this is what i dont understand.... how do they know or does the computer know if the vouhers match the clubcard? My keyfob says no name on it?!

Surprised about the request to write to 'Head Office'! It's relatively easy to check the used vouchers, what clubcard was used to spend the vouchers. And as long as it wasn't used by one of your cards, or a member of your family - they should have been able to organise that.
You also said "Tesco forgot to uodate my address" - when did you tell them before? And if there were that many vouchers involved why didn't you call about it before now to check?
