I may be being stupid but the judges voted (OK Cheryl refused to) and the one with the most votes got sent home. Where is the stitch up, thats how the show works every week isnt it?

I didn't realise that Simon Cowell selected the bottom 2! I thought that was entirely in the hands of the public. Did you see Simon Cowell's reaction when Wager got through? If it was up to Cowell, Wagner (Jedward last year) wouldn't have made it through week 1. He has little control apart from which of the bottom 2 acts to kick out.

Simon Cowell will always win. Why does he need to take it out of the hands of the public? The most popular act makes him the most money through voting (Joe last year, Alexandra the year before). The best act makes him the most money through being the best (Olly last year and JLS the year before).

Having Wagner there makes him more money than not having him there I would suggest personally

I dont know if this was originally put on the Vent boards, but,ITS JUST A TV SHOW.It is entertainment, not really a talent show, its pantomime..

The trouble is it's not just a TV show for the contestants, it's real life.....
