Anyone got the new Samsung I5801? How do you remove the sim card?
Anyone got the new Samsung I5801? (aka Galaxy apollo)? How do you remove the sim card? I have this new phone with a new number from Orange. I want to transfer my contacts from my old Orange phone to the new one. User guide says put old sim card in new phone to do this.
But I can't remove the sim card from the new phone. It fits in the side in a slot under the battery and seems permanently wedged in. There is no tool to remove it (as for the ipod) and no instructions in the user guide or on Orange or Samsung websites to do it.
I phoned the Orange shop where I got it and they say they think it should pop out, but it is the first one they have sold so would need to see it first. I don't have time to get back there for several days and its a trek to the nearest Orange dealer.
Anyone got the same phone and can advise? I don't want to force it.

Looking at the manual it appears to be similar to my Galaxy Tab. Push ther sim in slightly with your nail and release, it should pop out enough for you to get hold of and pull out.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.
