Who's accusing you of mis-selling and why? I can guarantee it's got nothing to do with photos on a website.
Sounds very fishy to me, this thread, as it makes no sense at all.0 -
Its very cheeky , the reason i ask is that we are being chased for miss-selling this property (Being contested through solictors at present) and think by using our photos this is actually miss-selling surely?
Admittedly they took the photos and were their property so to speak , but since its Sold then other people who have bought this property have redecorated , new carpets wallpaper ect and looks nothing like our original pictures.
We thought once the property had sold that was it, why wouldnt the new owners have new pictures? We think they are pretending to sell thus not allowing the estate agents in to take new pictures and no for sale sign outside. We think its a ploy to get monies out of us.
Thanks

I dont see why its miss-selling? The furniture isn't something that comes with the property anyway and as long as the new owners didnt decorate then the old photos reflect the current state of the property.0

OP Why were you looking on rightmove for your old property?
I think the current owners are doing this to wind you up and its working. If you know you didn't miss-sell then just reply to the claim truthfully and ignore any other things they do.
If the EA is happy to waste their time then that is upto them and how they market the property is also upto them. This could also work in your favour, so just let events happen and carry on with your life as normal (as you can)0 -
surely if they are using your pictures to sell thier house how can they accuse you of miss-selling it to them.
I would print off the advert for use in any furhter action by them0 -
If the estate agent took the photos, then they own the copyright to them and can do anything they want with them - even stick photos of your house on their website or brochures with a "SOLD" sticker over it.0

Why oh why are you bothered?? If the photos were good enough to show to the public 6 mths ago when you wanted to sell, whats the problem now? The photos are only an invite to view properly anyway!Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0
