Mattress lasted 11mths is that reasonable? Should i complain?

Yes definitely assume faulty if within six months. Re. refund, it depends upon how time passed since the mattress was delivered/collected. If it's over six months then an exchange or repair will be offered; if over one year then there may be a warranty or usage charge. Just depends upon the circumstances.If a fault occurs during the first six months then it is assumed to have been faulty at the time of sale.
They can offer either replacement, repair or refund... with some conditions on which is appropriate.

The OP said that the mattress lasted 11 months. So it is unlikely that they will be offered a refund.0
