Well Moon tidied the landing window (hence edit to earlier post), and I've got a load of washing to hang up before I forget (the non-TD items).

The friends who were going to be coming over on fireworks weekend, are now coming to dinner on December 10th, so I've been researching a vegetarian Christmasy inspired meal. This is what we'll be having: HM Brie soup with cranberry toasts, HM balsamic onion tart tatin with babyleaf salad, HM mincemeat and apple bread and butter pudding (my own recipe). What do you think? I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

    Hi everyone,
Been MIA this week, have had a bad few days with some bad news and a bit of a shock so flying has gone on the back burner. Will sign up again tomorrow and start over, the house needs it.

Just thought I'd pop in and give everyone a laugh, I know I've needed it this week. It seems that DS1 has grown and can now reach the paint shelf in the cupboard...

Baby didn't seem to mind at all, and in fact was cooing quite happily. I was washing up in the kitchen and DS came in and announced "Mummy I've been naughty" at which point my heart sank. The damage wasn't too bad thankfully and at least Jake will have a tale to tell when Ollie (the perpetrator) gets married...

Hope that puts a smile on anyone who needs it's face, I have to admit it did mine!

I'll be back when next weeks thread is up, and please prepare your fluffy mules.

    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,

Looks like it was a very tasty paintbrush, by the state of teeth and tongue:rotfl:

  • Really CBA today-spent loads of time today on ebay looking at dolls clothes, dolls clothes sewing and knitting patterns and polly pocket things of which I've now won some of each. Got all the washing done but yet to put it away and do the ironing-shouldn't take long.
Love the photos Hellyboo-just had to laugh at my DD trying to eat jelly-can't believe she didn't get it all over!

Just logged into my e mail and found I have sold something else (vintage seems to be a key word in my listings) - an ashtray - lots of smokers a couple of generations back and Grandad worked for a brewery (Thwaites) so that's where I assume all the pub ashtrays came from. This one's been shoved in a drawer (because I decluttered and have no use for ashtrays) so I listed it. I'm only getting low prices but it's all mounting up...and stuff that is not being used or loved is going so all good.

Cooked lunch/teas for us (kept is simple) and made a couple of cottage pies at the same time, so that's tomorrow's tea sorted and one for the freezer!

    Hellyboo -two cuties there!
