But...have had almost all of upstairs stripped and waxed (the house I mean, not me!!) and all the rooms are empty...what an opportunity for a declutter!
80 years of accumulated carpets and lino gone *fling*!
Other news, went for 20 week baby scan, and all well, Praise Be! Its a yellow one as couldn't see it's bits.
Sticks hugs and spoons to those in need.
Ummm... am I correct in thinking that flying at a lower altitude is OK when there's a baby on board??
Sounds like you've done enough for the moment simply by getting rid of the 80 years worth of carpet and lino:eek:‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

I'm not sure the altitude allowable is one shared by submarines:rotfl:
And the carpet was...er...delegated to DH. Wish I hadn't though, he chucked out DD2's Laura Ashley rug with it by mistake:eek:Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Have been booted off - and my house reflects that - Can I be reinstated please, pretty please, with bells and knobs on!
Thank you xx Hope everyone is okay, I am afraid not only have I not done housework but have not kept up with fred. I will read back later, but am not making my usual mistake of catching up first and then not having any time for housework!
I have done my dailies, and the washing is churning in the machine. I have checked pps list, and there is only one for Monday, so I am confused, but that seems a good place to start anyway so here goes...

A yellow baby.. awww what a wonderful expression. :T
You could always relax a bit grateful and just hope that you get an early case of nesting syndrome...:D
Got my cat food sorted out for mum, washed up, dried up and wiped down the kitchen.
Had a quick swish round the bathroom sink, made my bed and eagerly jumped when postie arrived... but my new posh pyjamas for hospital have not come!!!!!!!!!!
I am really upset tbh as I wanted to try them on and make sure they were nice and loose around the waist so they wont pinch my scars. I cannot help but think it is some kind of omen, maybe I should not go... maybe I am mad :rotfl:.. I think the later is far more likely. I did consider getting a nightie but went for pjs in the end as I had visions of me snoring my head off, legs akimbo scaring all the nurses and other patients on the ward..:rotfl:
Oh well, keep positive eh..:o
Feeling very CBA today.. all these plans of being busy etc and all I want to do is watch women getting overly excited about lipstick on QVC and drink coffee.
I MUST pack my hospital bag but don't want to, kinda putting it off.. I am a big baby lolGC 2011

Whew! Not so bad - sitting room looks so much better, and there's a horrifying amount of dust in my Dyson drum, which was empty when I started.....
NOW, YOU MAY WANT TO LOOK AWAY IF YOU CAN'T BEAR THE 'S****R' WORD....All gone?
OK: as I was cleaning round and dusting my light fittings and lampshades, I saw (not for the first time!) all the spider droppings on one of my standard lamp shades - it's the usual silk canvas stretched over a frame, and the spotting is really bad from TBFL (Time Before Fly Ladies) when we used to have hundreds of horrible spiders everywhere (:A not any more:) xxx).
I don't want to wet the shade, as this will make the stain even worse (did this once to remove rook 'splatter' when a bird fell down the chimney and was trapped inside for a few hours, and the lampshade looked dreadful afterwards). Any suggestions from anyone? Thanks
MissH
