Dont want to get into to much detail, but my neighbour has taped off an area of unregistered land where i have parked for 12 years and now claims this land is his property.
Today he photographed my car as the front end was just encroaching the taped off area.
So "is it illegal to photograph someone else's car including reg plate"
ANY OTHER ADVICE WOULD BE USEFUL (Caps sorry)
cheers

If you can see it from public or private land without being ridiculous (ladders/keyhole cameras) then you can legally take a photo of it.The man without a signature.0

No .. you can take photos of anything you like in a public place (virtually)0 -
can't see any reason it would be illegal to take pictures
Don't think anyone could offer any other advice without more details0 -
Google streetview and every traffic warden would have big problems if it was illegal.
In any case if your neighbour is claiming the land, he is taking photos on what he believes is his own property; I can't see that being illegal.

Agree that he can take pictures if he likes.
Have you used the land exclusively for over ten years? If so, then you can claim that the land is yours by adverse possession:

As far as the photo is concerned, it is perfectly legal to photograph anyone or anything that is on, or can be seen from, a public highway... and that includes public footpaths. There are very few exceptions and they relate mainly sensitive subjects such as policemen and military installations.
As far as your parking problem is concerned rip up the tape and keep on parking your car. From what you have told us, you have more right to claim the land than your neighbour. If you don't contest his claim he could have a valid claim in a few years.0 -
I'd be sorting out who actually owns the land, then go from there first.

Highly unlikely. Lots of land is still unregistered if it hasn't changed hands in the last 40 years or so. Councils own what they buy, like any other land owner - I worked for many years for the propertly records team of the County Council and we were often asked if a piece of land belonged to us and basically if we didn't have the deeds, no it didn't.0
