hi, do i require a barclays current or savings account to apply for their golden isa in branch, as you cant apply on-line unless you do, thanks, Jackie

No you don't, but at only 2.08% AER why would anyone want to apply for an ISA that pays such a poor rate of interest?
There are many widely available Cash ISAs that pay a much better rate - see this regularly updated post for current 'best buys'.0
