I work at a Solicitors firm and I can honestly say that it would be best for you to just put in a claim. We also try to make sure it doesn't affect your insurance, fight your corner from start to finish and are always their to help. Just today I got a client damages above £3000. If you want to help or want to discuss this further for help you can email me on brooker4444@gmail.com

Which firm is it that you work for, out of interest? Do they openly support their employees encouraging people to pursue frivolous/fraudulent claims on public internet forums, or is this a venture all of your own?

In addition, I'd love to see how much compensation for the OP's son bearing in mind he hit another car in the rear.

Sorry, I don't really understand what you are saying. His insurance company have told him now that a personal injury claim has been started, then it has to go through the insurance, so I understand that part.

Just ignore that post. (Well....press the spam button in it first, then ignore it!)

It is cynical spam from an ambulance chaser who hasn't read the thread beyond seeing magic words like "both have injury claims", and is trying it on getting some free advertising.

Well, the quote for the repair has come in. The cost is just over £200 - that includes the paint, labour and VAT. He said that it was just a paint scratch. It will have to be claimed through his insurance though as the people in the car are claiming whiplash and time off work. How can they justify that???? Surely the damage to their car speaks volumes.

Injury claims are much more common nowadays, unfortunately.

If your son feels aggrieved, the best thing for him to do is to make a fuss with his insurers, and ask them to investigate the claim fully.

hi all, totally sympathise with anyone this has happened to.my son had an accident yesterday acutally.a woman driving a transit van a company vehicle was infront of him at a junction went to pull out, suddenly stopped and he went into her back.he was still in 1st gear.she said she thought she saw a car caoming thats why she pulled up quick.no damage to her van,but my sons front bumper and tip of boot are done in.he has a witness to say she pulled up quick, but people are telling me "if you run into someones back end, basically its your fault".they exchanged details and got phone numbers etc but will this make any difference.he rang his insurance and a member of the response team are going to ring him within 24hrs.he has been driving for 5 years and never had a claim before.he,s only recently changed his car to a 3yrs old 1,previuosly he had little bangers.will he be the one to pay for this do you think as regards his voulountary excess and his insurance going up drastically.any advice please.
