Might be a few weeks...it contains a lot of sugar and I seem to remember that it went off or something if you made it too early....

BTW Crabbies Green Ginger Wine is 13.5% proof so not recommended for the children! Lovely in cider or whiskey though:D, a real winter warmer!The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.

Just bought two bottles of Riddles - one extra hot - today at a local chemist shop for £1.89 each. Couldn't believe same for sale online for £4.20 each.

My dad used to make this!
He was completely teetotal and would make Yulade ginger wine and blackcurrant wine for Hogmanay. He made it in the dumpling pan and then poured it into milk bottles (showing my age here!) Poured loads of sugar in. Nae wonder we all have rotten teeth in my family!0
