Which courier is used by thornton's chocolate online?

I was meant to have a satruday delivery from thornton's chocolates today but there has been no sign of it Does anyone know which courier they use as my e-mail just said it had been dispatched and didn't mention which courier or have a tracking number. Thanks

If they haven't given you a tracking number, then my guess would be Royal Mail. Although, I have a sneaking suspicion that it might be HDNL (sorry about that!).

I'm really hoping it isn't HDNL as I've had problems with them before....but then again as it's been a no show today I wouldn't be surprised if it is them!

Have you tried logging onto the Thorntons website and checking your order. They have have a tracking number against it on their, or at least a clue to which courier they are using.

On my e-mail saying that my order had been despatched it just says 'Due to the nature of the delivery method or destination, we are unable to supply tracking information for this recipient'. On my account info it doesn't list my order, it just says I have no order history! I'll just have to phone up tomorrow when their customer service is open. Thanks for your help Forris

i ordered something which came from them about a month or two ago and that was delivered by hermes - but i dont know if all their deliveries are through them

Don't know if this will help or not.... mate rec'd a delivery from Thorntons and it was a woman with her own car delivering the chocolates. Does that help narrow it down??

That sounds like Hermes or DHL@Home.

Sounds like Hermes then, as I get things from a catalogue delivered by a woman in her car, and it's that company.

Thanks for all the help, I'll ring up Thorntons tomorrow and complain about my no show saturday delivery. I'll just have to rearrange it for next saturday, and hopefully I won't have to waste another saturday waiting for a no show delivery.
