Moneysaving depressing me

OP, I completely understand.
Having saved and paid off a large amount of my debt over the best part of 2 years, I'm now in the position where for instance I could buy myself £200 or £300 worth of stuff every month if I want too and still save a bit too.
But the trouble is after 22 months of saving, I now find it very difficult and annoying if I don't save what I have been for the past 22 months. So at least 75% (nearer 95%) of my spare money I save as well as what I already save.
So for instance I like a bottle of diet pepsi, but I'm blowed if I'm going to pay 99p for it and I fancy the complete Inbetweeners series on DVD, but I'm waiting for it too come down in price.
Numerous other things, like the fact I look for papers on the train, rather than buying them and overall I have spent about £5 on myself in the past 3 weeks.
So basically if I don't see my savings account go up by a certain amount I find it quite depressing.0
