Anglian Water made me chuckle

I phoned Anglian Water yesterday as they were late taking our direct debit. We moved late September, so I thought maybe something had gone wrong and boy was I right. I was told on the phone that according to them I'd been homeless for 1,5 months and hence didn't have a bill to pay :rotfl:

Made me chuckle, but at least they've sorted it now and it will all be straightened out with our December direct debit. Pays to stay on top of things...

  • Interesting, we were away for six weeks with the water turned off . It made no difference to the bills ,after checking that there were no leaks found that the standing charges let them charge . self sufficiency the way forward money saving rain dance li:j
