Anglian Water made me chuckle

I phoned Anglian Water yesterday as they were late taking our direct debit. We moved late September, so I thought maybe something had gone wrong and boy was I right. I was told on the phone that according to them I'd been homeless for 1,5 months and hence didn't have a bill to pay :rotfl:

Made me chuckle, but at least they've sorted it now and it will all be straightened out with our December direct debit. Pays to stay on top of things...

Interesting, we were away for six weeks with the water turned off . It made no difference to the bills ,after checking that there were no leaks found that the standing charges let them charge . self sufficiency the way forward money saving rain dance li:j
