I went with them because I was having trouble with TalkTalk and a family member told me he uses them, he gets other discounts with them too, it seemed alright at the time, I am thinking of changing though.

You wouldn't really expect a family member to con you into signing up with a crap ISP would you but when commission is involved you're just another gullible punter!

Ah, you are probably right, UWclub did ask where I had heard of them and when I said it was from someone else they asked for their name etc.
I have had a few occasions where the line has gone off, I had to phone via a mobile to check and true enough they were having problems, when it came back on I again phoned and asked for a reduction on my bill as I had no phone or internet, they did give me one though, but if I hadn't bothered I doubt they would have done.

If someone wants to get referred to Be by me send me a PM :rotfl:

The referrer and the referee both get £15 account credit btw...

Never heard about them. What made you chose this "ISP"? Their website looks to me like a shopping portal rather than an ISP.

I'd go with Be where you get truly unlimited Internet up to 24MBit/s for £17.88 a month.
Its the company that is so controversial that it has its very own thread,( https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2473547 )discussion is so sensitive that no mention may be made of it elsewhere on the forum.

    Only joking..............................or am I?

PS their service provider is Opal telecom, part of the CPW group.

I originally posted about a Broadband Tracker now the thread is going off topic slightly, I didn't know about the UW thread or it being controversial, sorry about that, but like I said earlier I am thinking of changing.

I use netmeter myself, find its OK, of course it only monitors the traffic to the PC that its installed on and not to other devices, Wii, XBox, other PCs etc.

DU Meter is another good option, but it's not free.
