To be honest, even though I disagree with the initial comment and the excitement over it, it's no real different to getting the tissues out when rents go up and more people are having to rent, and "the bears bought this on themselves, and now can't afford to buy, its delicious".

It's this side of HPC that I've always loathed. This is one "club" I wouldn't want to be a member of. There is something not very nice about them.

I quite like the news stream on HPC however.

To be honest - how can anyone expect to make money on a house purchase in 18 months. With all the fees & costs involved in buying a house you are bound to be out of pocket:money:

If it had been down they would have been on fire. Even they know any rise would be the end.

Now I'd like to see them put their hands up. It's over. There will be no crash.

I feel sorry for anyone genuine who is priced out. Most of that shower are just losers with no money or prospects. As far as I'm concerned I'm glad they will never own a house. I'd hate them to live next door to me.

They are a spent force. To be fair they probably called it right until the government took measures to support the housing market.

Once QE kicked in and the other actions the HPC dream was finished. Anyone with a brain knows that houses in most areas will rise not crash.

All you have now on HPC is the bottom rung. Losers.

As a "neither" I wouldn't say they are all losers, some obviously have well paid careers (based on what they say-who knows) and have amassed fairly huge deposits but who sadly seem to be waiting forever for the crash to happen. If they have 100k in the bank they think they have done the hard bit and that should be enough for them to buy a house cash without a mortgage, but in many areas that is just a pipe dream.
