Oil Tank Warranty problems

We complained and they upgraded their offer to £270 or if we provide "proof of purchase", they will review it again. OF course, we don't have proof of purchase because the previous house owner bought the tank. They must be well aware that most people won't have original proof of purchase.0

An update: a contractor for Titan came out to look at our tank. It turned out that the tank (single-skin) didn't need to be replaced by a bunded tank, and Titan agreed to replace with an identical tank, which has now been installed (not before time, as I could see the crack increasing visibly, almost by the day). We only had to pay for a new Watchman monitor-thingy.3-6 Month Emergency Fund #14: £9000 / £10,0000
