Tax credits..... Again!

:(hi all
I have an on-line account that i have opened as my mother who has dementia is giving me money for comming to see her she sees it as paying me for the 68 mile round trip i do (love her) I put this money in this account and have only taken out any to pay for some work she needed doing at her home. The DWP has now requested statements for this account!! How do they know? its an online account no one can pay in or take out without transfering on line. Do i have to show them as its not really my money... The family are in the proces of getting power of atorney so I can then control her assests and put this money back into her accounts.
please anyone advise as they are treatening to suspend my benefits.

If it's in a bank account in your name it is seen as your money and is counted as such. Not sure how this relates to Tax Credits though as they only take income into account not savings?

my mom and i have got the exact same name. i dont know how to post cant see how to do it and the only way to ask for advice was to reply to a thread (numpty I know ) but if you can show me how to do that I wont reply in future I will post Thanks for the advice though
