is it neccesary to use alot of capitals, makes it hard to read, if you werent happy with the trainee manager did you mention it to your manager about the fact he was lazy

yes i did , twice he told me to love him!,
(sorry about the capitals its a bad habit of mine ,)
oh and yes the trainee manager was a new guy who came from Sainsburys clearly he had never stocked a shelve before or just wernt going to be busting sweat for no one,,
and i just new i wernt going to be getting out of their till gone 8am at the rate he was going,
one thing i will say about the other managers their is you do see them getting down and dirty with the rest of the staff doing the same as us,,
this guy clearly was a sit on your butt manager,

i jus hope the other people are their more because its what the job center are making ppl do these days to keep their JSA
Job Centre Work Trials are voluntary, they don't/can't force you to do them.

Total Shambles aint it just :rotfl:,, i have to laugh or i'll cry i was enjoying it as well.

ohh well you live and learn;),
lets hope they can or will come up with something for me if not it'll be their loss not mine,

im the stupid one , i get that now as in my desperation and determination to find work i never checked it all out before hand,
never asked the right questions from the start i just jumped right in their ,
You made a mistake, Tescos made a mistake, the Job Centre made a mistake.

BUT Tescos should still pay you !

Maybe if you speak to personnel department & explain what has happened
    they should recompense you.

It may even help get the proper job there.

I know that these work trials are voluntary but i have a very high opinion of the OP, i think she genuinely wants to improve her lot in life and her circumstances, i think companies like tesco are exploiting these people when the seasonal worker vacancies have already gone.

I never live on promises and that is the managenent paying lip service a very genuine person wanting to gain a job at the end of the trial. If the manager was impressed with the OP's work then no matter how long the trial is they would give her an offer of a job immediately.

But as i am coming suspect they are just using people to cover the busiest part of the trading year for a supermarket.
  • just thought id share this story with you all to give you a bit of a laugh,,
I been fancying a nice roast beef for last few weeks now but its sooo expensive to buy a nice bit to feed my family, so when i got £17.00 in tesco club card vouchers thu the door last week i decided Saturday to get a nice lump of beef with it for yesterday it cost £18.06p:eek:,,
i cooked it nice and slow and had a little slice before dishing up and it was delish ummmmm,

i went up stairs for half an hour before serving up my lot,,
then when i came down i saw my Bad Bully Boy,,(him in the profile pic)
looking very pleased with himself and the shape of a barrel,
i ran to the kitchen to find he'd only gone and opened the door ands had the WHOLE LOT OFF the kitchen side and had eaten the bloody lot:mad:,,,,,
i was in total shock and feared id kill the little !!!!!! that i got in the car and went bingo last night where i then won £50.00 loooool,, aint it funny how life works,:rotfl:

Right i have now been told last night that IF I'm offered the job it will be 15 hours a week only

earnings per month would be around £400, after tax.

i would then lose my carers allowance and after doing that benefit check thing on here, wold also lose my tax credit , well it would come down alot anyway, and would lose the little £10.00 a week help with hb we get,,

it would seem i would be worse off if i did this job,
i spoke to manager last night and he is going to sit with me tonight and work it out ,

i need at least 4 days work a week or their is no point me doing it,

understand i want to work badly but i also want to more money than i will have to give up by way of tax credit and careers allowance,

i want full time night work and dont think this place can offer me that,:(
You can earn £100 per week without it affecting your carers allowance. Probably too late now, but worth knowing for future.

If your CV is anything like the spelling on here I'm not surprised you haven't got a job.

  • So shes not good enough to work and be paid but shes good enough to work for nothing. Is that what your saying Steve 1980 because thats what it sounds like to me. Cindy worked DAMN HARD to try to get given a job there. She was basically working her socks off on an empty promise that she MIGHT have got a job and she doesnt need insults from you. The bad spelling was probably due to her typing really fast because she was angry at being exploited. Still at least her spelling matches your complete lack of understanding! Oh and maybe she was tired from working so hard but i am willing to bet that didnt even occur to you!
